Accessing EBSCOhost Personal folders: Home

This guide contains instructions for students who are having difficulty accessing their EBSCOhost personal folders in July 2018.

Accessing EBSCOhost Personal Folders

Due to EBSCO’s effort to be in compliance with the new European online security (GDPR), LBC students and faculty are having trouble accessing their EBSCOhost personal folders from off-campus. EBSCO is requiring students and faculty to give "Consent to its policy." The problem is that the student or faculty is not permitted to give consent. If you are experiencing this problem, here are some steps to access your folder until it is resolved:

If you are on campus, sign into your EBSCOhost personal folder and then go through the "Consent" process mentioned above. Once that is done, then you should be able to access your personal folder from off-campus.

‚ÄčIf you are not able to come on campus to go through the "Consent" process, here is how you could get past the consent agreement to access your personal folder in the meantime.

  1. Go to this URL link:
  2. Click here for a username and password to get past the consent form.

Please contact the library staff if you are having further problems.
