Your LBC ID is your library card

Your LBC site ID card is also your library card! Use it to borrow booksrenew an item onlinemake requests for LBC resources at additional locations, or to make interlibrary loan requests

Things to Remember:

  • Materials can be returned to the circulation desk at each location. In Lancaster, items may also be returned using the book drop.

  • Patrons are financially responsible for lost or damaged materials

Access library resources from off-campus

As an employee, you have off campus access to Library Resources like databases, e-books, and journals. Log in using your LBC username and password. (same credentials as if you were signing into LBC email) No sure what your LBC credentials are? Click Here to go to the LBC Help Desk Portal and Choose "password lookup".


Finding library resources

LBC OneSearch  is the main search box on the library homepage. You can use it to find books, articles, and more.

Our Research Guides are a great place to start your search.  Guides are laid out based on your subject area.

If you need help finding resources come to the Research Help Desk on the main level of the TLC.

Get items not available at your Location

Additional Location Loan (ALLL)  is a FREE service that allows you to request items from All LBC Locations. Find out More

Inter Library Loan is a FREE service that allows you to request items LBC does not own. Find out More

* Please Remember Inter-Library Loan is an ACADEMIC Service. Personal Non-Academic materials should be requested through the public library. 

* If you are researching for a degree outside of LBC, we ask that you search/request items through that institution first and LBC second.

Get connected to LBC wireless

At any Lancaster Bible location, connect any device to WiFi  using your LBC login username and password.  For further assistance visit the Information Systems team

Computers, Printing & Coping

 At the Charles and Gloria Jones Library, use your LBC Login to log on to library computers. Problems logging in? Visit the Help desk page.

Renew your books online

To renew an item online, go to My Library Account on the library website and login using your last name and library barcode number (listed on back of your LBC ID card).

 Books may be borrowed from any location. As an Emloyee you can borrow Books for a 90 days, with 1 renewal. DVDs 14 day checkouts with 1 renewal. Kits and Reference materials are also available to you for checkout.

  • An Employee's spouse who is NOT an LBC alumni, may obtain a Community Patron Card Free of charge. Please see Borrowing privileges below.
  • An Employee's spouse who is an LBC alumni, may obtain an Alumni Card Free of charge.  Please see Borrowing privileges below.

Course Reserves

Professors may place items on the library reserve shelves so that all students in that course will have some access to them. These resources are listed in the library catalog as reserved for the students in the specific course.
