ALLY Center: Disability Services

The Ally Center exists to: cultivate academic growth through individualized services and mentorship as each student discovers a God-given life thesis.

About Disability Services

LBC’s Disability Services Office (DSO) provides accommodations for students with disabilities to ensure access to all programs, facilities, and activities of the college based on Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), and their amendments. Accommodations are made on an individual, case-by-case basis, after submission of documentation to the Director of Disability Services.

  • Students with disabilities may submit documentation and schedule an appointment with the Director at their earliest convenience so that accommodations can be arranged as soon as possible.
  • Students who suspect they may have an undiagnosed disability that is affecting their academic performance at LBC are also encouraged to discuss their situation with the Director, who may then refer the student for a more extensive evaluation.
