The Library is the busy information hub for Washington, D.C. location. Here you will find students and personnel doing research, picking up books, and meeting with friends for group study or simply to socialize. The library is open Monday – Friday for students, personnel, alumni, and community patrons to use.
Students are able to access eBooks and eJournal titles along with a wide range of online subject databases from the library home page.
The Jones Library forms the core of the Teague Learning Commons II (TLC II) demonstrating LBC’s commitment to academic scholarship in training the next generation of well-informed servant leaders. The Learning Commons is named after LBC’s fifth president Dr. Peter W. Teague and his wife, Paulette. Dr. and Mrs. Teague exemplify what it means to be life-long learners and servant leaders.
The TLC II, fashioned after the TLC at Lancaster, Pennsylvania, offers many unique features. Students are able to walk in, grab a coffee at Bennie’s To Go, meet in a collaborative learning space filled with natural light, study in a state-of-the-art interactive group conference room, or work at one of the many student computers.
