Reserving Library Study Rooms Terms & Conditions

During the COVID-19, rooms may have a maximum of 1 person

  1. Users are allowed up to 90 Minutes per room per day.
  2. In larger group study-rooms, groups sizes larger then allowed will be asked to vacate.
  3. Rooms may be reserved up to 2 days in advance.
  4. Arrival of more than five minutes late, the booking will be cancelled and others may be able to book the space. Failure to show up for three bookings in a row will result in a one month loss of booking privileges.
  5. All group members must agree to the reservation. reservations may be canceled if a user does not agree, or were not made aware of a reservation that includes them.
  6. For the safety of all patrons, we ask that users stop by the Circulation & Information Desk for cleaning supplies and disinfectant. Users are to clean and disinfect the study room prior to leaving at the end of the reservation time.
  7. Drink Containers must have lids.
  8. Rooms are not soundproof, please, no shouting or loud audio.
  9. Do not leave personal belongings unattended.
  10. All room users are expected to leave the rooms in the same (better) condition they found it and place trash in receptacles.
  11. Rooms should be vacated 15 minutes before the library closes.​​​​​​


How to Reserve a Study Room Lancaster

Study rooms can be Reserved in half-hour increments (two increments=one hour).

Click on the green space next to any available study room (unavailable study rooms are indicated by a Red square.) To view more information about the study room, hover over the 'Information' icon.


To Reserve a study room, click on the rectangles next to the study room option.

To delete a reservation time, click on the trash can next to the study room selection


Agree to the terms of use.

Fill in your information. In order to book a room, you must use your email address.

Once you submit your reservation, you will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of your reservation.

Check in at the Circulation & Information desk when you arrive.
